We arrived at Niagara Falls at 7:00 p.m. and decided to stay on the tacky American side in the Days Inn.  We were hungry decided to eat in what was called the "Best Indian Food in America."  Well, we would not quite give it that title. . . .  But then seeing the illuminated falls at night made up for any culinary deficiencies and tackiness.  Yes, the falls really did look like this!  No photoshop here!

Charlotte Ferry

The ferry ride over Lake Champlain from Charlotte, Vermont to Essex, New York was breathtaking!  Beautiful day, lovely waters!

First night

Our "first night" was spent with our gracious hostess Cece Wick in her lovely pad in Burlington.  What a delightful breakfast we had!  We were really energized to begin our journey.

Loading the Truck

Here we are loading the truck--well, I should say, here are Dick and Tom loading the truck.  The rest of us mostly just stood by and watched.  Thanks to all!  Contents include the dining room table, 7 dining room chairs, two wing-back chairs, books, a bed, a bench, turkey dishes, and lots of photos.  Am I a hoarder?

Hello!  Here are the beginnings of our road trip--Lolma and Collouise with our Glad Dick in the Best Western in Rutland, Vermont!  Hopefully he won't steal all our money since Lolma has already lost all her money!  Oh, this our Muse, Brenda!  Have fun!
